On July 17 and 18, 2017, representatives of Intersert-Ukraine conducted another surveillance audit of PJSC Energomashspetsstal for compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 50001: 2011. The test results are positive. The audit showed that since the receipt of the certificate, the energy management system has not only successfully worked, but is also constantly developing.
During the visit, the main auditor, Vladimir Matvienko, checked all the elements of the energy management system of PJSC “EMSS” for compliance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 50001: 2011. Unlike the recertification audit, the supervisory audit was aimed more at monitoring production processes. As methods of audit were used: selective examination of documents, interviews with personnel, as well as monitoring the management of operations in the workplace. The certificates obtained during the first supervisory audit allowed the expert to conclude that the energy management system of PJSC “EMSS” is functioning and is effective. The Chief Auditor thanked the EMSS management for the excellent organization of the event and noted the high level of work of the energy managers of the enterprise.
“From the point of view of accounting for energy consumption, Energomashspetsstal is an exemplary enterprise. The energy management system of PJSC “EMSS” is maintained and is constantly developing, all energy performance requirements are fully met. The enterprise constantly monitors and analyzes energy-consuming processes and equipment, carries out a large number of energy-saving measures, new economical production technologies are used in the shops, “the chief auditor said.
PJSC “Energomashspetsstal” received a certificate of compliance of the energy management system with the requirements of ISO 50001: 2011 in 2013. Since that time, two observational and one re-certification audit were carried out at the enterprise, which extended the validity of the certificate until 2019.
