Summing up the results of the production activity of “Energomashspetsstal” PJSC for year 2020, we can conclude that the past year was very successful for the enterprise.
In year 2020, the volume of sales of finished products manufactured at EMSS amounted to UAH 3.324 billion, which is 71% more than in the same period in year 2019. The output of marketable products in year 2020 increased by 37.6%. According to the plan, in year 2021 it is planned to produce and sell products for at least UAH 3.043 billion.
The number of personnel of “EMSS” PJSC at the beginning of year 2021 was 1,525 people. The average monthly salary of EMSS’s employees increased by 16% compared to year 2019 and amounted to UAH 18,381.
In total, 21.432 tons of products were shipped to customers from EMSS in year 2020. The key objects of supplies in year 2020 were shipments for Kudankulam NPP (India), Akkuyu NPP (Turkey), Tianwan NPP (China) and Xudapu NPP (China). In addition, deliveries of products with the EMSS brand were carried out to a number of large foreign companies. At the end of year 2020, the volume of exports amounted to 94.4% of total sales.
A significant event in year 2020 was the assimilation by EMSS’s specialists of a new technology for manufacturing low-pressure rotor shanks and discs, which made it possible to pass successfully the qualification of General Electric and start serial production of products. The finished products will be installed at the Akkuyu NPP which is now under construction in Turkey.
Speaking about the prospects, Yuriy Shportko, acting Marketing and Sales Director of “EMSS” PJSC, noted that the plant is loaded with work for year 2021, the company’s order book is full. “In year 2020, the plant received a number of serious orders. An important area for EMSS in year 2021 will be the production of large-size castings for the ship’s power system. Also it will be continued works on the production of blanks for the nuclear power plants which are under construction in India, Turkey and China. It is discussed the prospects of supplying our products to Egypt for the “El-Dabaa” nuclear power plant. In addition, we plan to supply roll products to new markets in the US, Canada, Mexico and China.”
